If you decide you'd like me to be a part of your birth team (yay!), you'll sign a contract with me and then we'll schedule our prenatal appointments. You'll get some paperwork from me, too, that you'll need to fill out and return to me.

I charge $1,000 for my in-person doula services package, which includes the following:

2 prenatal visits to include:

  • help with your birth plan

  • introduction and practice of labor techniques and comfort measures

  • discussion of your and your birth partner's questions, concerns, and/or fears about labor and delivery, including the process of informed decision-making

  • preparation for baby feeding

  • planning related to when you'll call me to join you during labor and where I'll meet you

  • recommendations for childbirth education

  • discussion about postpartum issues

Constant prenatal information and support

  • Any time you have a question or concern, contact me! E-mail me, text me, or give me a call and I'll respond or get back to you promptly.

  • Access to my lending library of recommended books on nursing, labor and delivery, birth partners, postpartum concerns, etc.

  • Access to my website’s client resources page where I’ve provided the results of the hours of research I’ve done for you!

  • Support can also include suggestions for Bible scriptures to use in pregnancy, labor & delivery, affirmation cards, prayer, labor position comfort measure pictures, community resources, etc.

24/7 On-call

  • I will be on call for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from 3 weeks prior to your due date until you give birth.

  • You will have a special ring tone and text message tone on my phone so I'll always know it's you or your birth partner trying to contact me.

Labor and delivery

  • I will join you for your labor and delivery at the time we discussed at our prenatal visits.

  • I will be ready to serve you and your birth partner with my doula supply bag and supplies, including several labor comfort aids and tools, snacks, my rebozo, birth ball, and peanut ball.

  • I will stay with you throughout your entire labor and delivery.

  • Supporting your birth preferences and plan will be my goal during your labor and delivery.

  • I will continue to be with you until 1-2 hours after your baby's birth in order to assist you with breastfeeding and other postpartum needs.

  • I will keep track of times and stages in order to write a birth experience account for you (written in a notes-style or bullet-point list in a real-time format).

  • If I have a free hand, I am happy to take cellphone photographs during your labor and delivery.

One postpartum visit + 6 weeks postpartum assistance

  • I will visit you at your home in order to see how you and your baby are doing, answer any questions you have, and help you with any breastfeeding or newborn issues.

  • I will give you your birth experience account.

  • I will be available to answer your questions and help you find support for up to 6 weeks postpartum.
